2026 Senior Awards

Fifty-seven members of the Class of 2026 received a total of 89 awards at Senior Awards Night on Thursday, May 14. Awards from local businesses, organizations, and individuals totaled nearly $164,425 this year. The total includes awards for valedictorian, salutatorian, and third in class that will be announced at commencement on Friday, May 29, and four low-interest loans from the Lampeter-Strasburg Education Foundation.

• Taline Al Kurdi - Taline is the recipient of the Frank A. Wint Memorial Scholarship and the Strasburg I.O.O.F. Lodge 361 Mathematics Scholarship. She plans to attend Franklin & Marshall College to study biology.
• Ava Berrios - Ava is the recipient of the Creative Arts Award. She plans to attend Franklin and Marshall College and is undecided about her major. 
• Carlos Berrios - Carlos is the recipient of an S. Dale High Scholarship and the Strasburg I.O.O.F. Lodge 361 Social Studies Scholarship. He plans to attend Franklin & Marshall College to study civil engineering.
• Maya Brenneman - Maya is the recipient of the Garrett Graby Memorial Scholarship, a Gene Snyder Memorial Award, and a Hall of Fame Award. She plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to study mechanical engineering technology.
• Adriana Cedeno - Adriana is the recipient of an S. Dale High Scholarship and the Strasburg Police Law Enforcement Award. She plans to attend the University of Tampa to study criminal justice.
• Maya Coon - Maya is the recipient of the Abraham Lincoln Award. She plans to attend Lebanon Valley College to study environmental sciences.
• Charlie Creighton - Charlie is the recipient of the Ian H. Holmberg Scholarship. He plans to attend Liberty University to study mechanical engineering. 
• Brady Cunningham - Brady is the recipient of the Pequea Valley Sportsman Association Scholarship. He plans to attend Chestnut Hill College to study business management.
• Keegan Curtis - Keegan is the recipient of the Live for Today Lacrosse Scholarship. He is planning to attend Penn State University to study business administration. 
• Rylee Diller - Rylee is the recipient of the Pioneer Cross Country Scholarship, the Rick Gieniec Memorial Award, and the Strasburg Ambulance Community Fund Award. She plans to attend Haverford College to study biology.
• Marshy Duvalsaint - Marshy is the recipient of the Zimmerman’s Hardware Award. He plans to attend Penn State University to study electrical engineering.
• Grant Filius - Grant is the recipient of the Strasburg Lions Club Janice Seldomridge Memorial Award. He plans to attend the University of Lynchburg to study business. 
• Peter Fiorello - Peter is the recipient of a Hall of Fame Award. He plans to attend Kutztown University to study business.
• Antonio Franco - Antonio is the recipient of the Frank A. Wint Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend High Point University to study mechanical engineering. 
• Madeline Frego - Madeline is the recipient of a Gene Snyder Memorial Scholarship, the Lampeter-Strasburg Area Women’s Club Mom Strubel Award, the Matthew R. Conrad Memorial Scholarship, and the Putting Others First Scholarship. She plans to attend Penn State University and is undecided about her major.
• Marianne Gomez-Marquez - Marianne is the recipient of the Strasburg I.O.O.F Lodge 361 Science Scholarship and the Lampeter-Strasburg PTO Scholarship. She plans to attend Drexel University to study biological sciences. 
• Trevor Groff - Trevor is the recipient of a Lampeter-Strasburg Area Republican Committee Award and the Pete Kingsley Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend Liberty University to study business administration and finance.
• Lucy Harris - Lucy is the recipient of the Henry and Mary Wentz Scholarship in Honor of Dr. Melvin E. Rosier. She plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study neuroscience.
• Maddux Harsh - Maddux is the recipient of the Grimm Agriculture Award and a Pequea Valley Sportsman Association Scholarship. He plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to study water & environmental technology
• Brooke Hess - Brooke is the recipient of the Democratic Club of Willow Valley Thaddeus Stevens Scholarship, the Rae Ann Henry Memorial Scholarship, and a Ryan “Whitey” Weitzel Award. She plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to study advanced welding fabrication technology. 
• Natalie Hill - Natalie is the recipient of a Lampeter-Strasburg Educational Foundation Loan. She plans to attend Misericordia University to study occupational therapy. 
• Jaden Hoffman - Jaden is the recipient of the Sara Ann (Buckwalter) Bauer ‘59 Scholarship. She plans to attend Millersville University to study elementary education.
• Emerson Holsinger - Emerson is the recipient of the Lampeter-Strasburg Youth Soccer Association Award. She plans to attend the University of Vermont to study biology. 
• Merin Kauffman - Merin is the recipient of the Ray Zeigler Memorial Scholarship Award. She plans to attend Pratt Institute and is undecided about her major. 
• Isabelle King - Isabelle is the recipient of a Lampeter-Strasburg Educational Foundation Loan and the Willoughby & Associates Future Leader Award. She plans to attend Penn State University to study business management.
• Amelia Knarr - Amelia is the recipient of the Carroll J. Staub Education Scholarship. She plans to attend Utah State University to study elementary education. 
• Mia LaFontaine - Mia is the recipient of the Strasburg I.O.O.F Lodge 361 English Scholarship and the Vocal Music Scholarship. She plans to attend Bucknell University to major in English literary studies. 
• Titus Lingenfelter - Titus is the recipient of the Ansleigh Kaye Motta Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend Penn State University to study engineering. 
• Ludanine Lozada - Ludanine is the recipient of the Ethel M. Speros Memorial Award and a Strasburg Ambulance Community Fund Award. She plans to attend Lebanon Valley College to study nursing. 
• Owens Maines - Owens is the recipient of the J. Aldus Herr Memorial Scholarship, and a Lampeter-Strasburg Youth Soccer Association Award. He plans to attend Temple University to study mechanical engineering.
• Brady Messinger - Brady is the recipient of a Gene Snyder Award, a Lampeter-Strasburg Area Republican Committee Scholarship, a Lampeter-Strasburg Education Association Scholarship, and a Lampeter-Strasburg Educational Foundation Loan. He plans to attend Millersville University to study technology education. 
• Chase Messinger - Chase is the recipient of a Lampeter-Strasburg Educational Foundation Loan, a Ryan “Whitey” Weitzel Award, a Willow Street Lions Club Health or Community Service Award, and the Outstanding Senior Award. He plans to attend Liberty University to study national security and intelligence. 
• Savanna Minnich - Savanna is the recipient of the Meredith Leigh Demko Diversity Scholarship. She plans to attend Millersville University to study art education. 
• Aubree Morrow - Aubree is the recipient of the Dr. Steven K. Groff Memorial Scholarship. She plans to attend St. Joseph’s University in Lancaster to study nursing. 
• Benjamin Mulron - Benjamin is the recipient of the JK Mechanical Scholarship. He plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to study plumbing. 
• Kali O'Connell - Kali is the recipient of a Gene Snyder Athletic Award. She plans to attend East Stroudsburg University to study exercise science. 
• Kayleigh Oberdorf - Kayleigh is the recipient of the R.H. Holmberg Memorial Scholarship. She plans to attend Millersville University to study marine biology. 
• Lillie Ravert - Lillie is the recipient of the Willow Valley Associates Hospitality Scholarship. She plans to attend West Chester University to study nursing. 
• Emily Reiter - Emily is the recipient of a James W. & Janice G. Frey Scholarship in Honor of Keith Y. Frey. She plans to attend Harrisburg Area Community College to study nursing. 
• Hannah Reiter - Hannah is the recipient of a James W. & Janice G. Frey Scholarship in Honor of Keith Y. Frey. She plans to attend Harrisburg Area Community College to study nursing. 
• Jack Ross - Jack is the recipient of the Tobias Leaman Award. After graduating, he plans to join the workforce as an ag diesel mechanic.
• Brooke Rubincam - Brooke is the recipient of the Lampeter-Strasburg Agriculture Department Excellency Award, a Lampeter-Strasburg Education Association Scholarship, and the Strasburg Borough Service Award. She plans to attend Penn State University to study mathematics education. 
• Amara Russell - Amara is the recipient of the G.R. Mitchell Community Service Award. She plans to attend Millersville University and is undecided about her major. 
• Houston Schreck - Houston is the recipient of a Gene Snyder Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend Millersville University to study secondary education. 
• Brady Scranton - Brady is the recipient of a Todd Garber L-S Baseball Award. He plans to attend Bucknell University to study marketing. 
• Collin Shelley - Collin is the recipient of a Gene Snyder Athletic Award. He plans to attend Stonehill College to study exercise science. 
• Shrey Singh - Shrey is the recipient of the Scott J. Kimmel Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend Indiana University to study finance. 
• Kelsey Spaulding - Kelsey is the recipient of the Lampeter-Strasburg Area Women’s Club Geraldine Rapp Educational Scholarship. Kelsey plans to attend Penn State University to study early childhood education. 
• Jacob Stahovich - Jacob is the recipient of a Todd Garber L-S Baseball Award. He plans to attend Elizabethtown College to study finance. 
• Mitchell Swarr - Mitchell is the recipient of a Ryan N. Smith Memorial Scholarship. He plans to join the military after graduation. 
• Evan Taggart - Evan is the recipient of an Lampeter-Strasburg Educational Foundation Loan. He plans to attend Winthrop University to study health and physical education. 
• Josie Turek - Josie is the recipient of a Lampeter-Strasburg Area Republican Committee Scholarship. She plans to attend Genesis Beauty School to study cosmetology. 
• McKenna Turner - McKenna is the recipient of the Elizabeth S. Henry Scholarship and a Lampeter-Strasburg Education Association Scholarship. She plans to attend Shippensburg University to study early childhood education.  
• Jordan Weaver - Jordan is the recipient of the David B. and Kathryn M. Kraybill Scholarship. She plans to attend Alvernia University to study criminal justice. 
• Avary Weiler - Avary is the recipient of the Justin Barr Memorial Scholarship. She plans to attend Duquesne University to study nursing. 
• Audrey Wieand - Audrey is the recipient of the Lampeter-Strasburg Administrators’ Scholarship, the Democratic Club of Willow Valley Community Involvement Scholarship, a Lampeter-Strasburg Education Association Scholarship, the Rotary Club of Lancaster South Ralph W. “Buzz” Coho Scholarship, and a Ryan N. Smith Memorial Scholarship. She plans to attend Grove City College to study middle level education. 
• Adam Zook - Adam is the recipient of the Forever a Pioneer; Dr. Robert A. Frick Scholarship. He plans to attend Millersville University to study emergency management.
