Schools are collecting food items, grocery gift cards, and monetary donations for food banks for the upcoming holiday season. Read more to learn when and how each school is participating.

Elementary Schools will be collecting items from Monday, 11/17, through Wednesday, 11/19
L-S Early Childhood Center - boxed mashed potatoes and canned vegetables
Lampeter Elementary School - cranberry sauce, apple sauce, and canned fruit
Hans Herr Elementary School - canned turkey gravy, canned vegetables, and boxed stuffing
Martin Meylin Middle School will be accepting monetary donations from Monday, 11/17, through Wednesday, 11/19
Collections have been limited at MMMS this year due to space/construction constraints. Donations can be made online at the link below.
L-S High School will be collecting canned food and monetary donations from Thursday, 11/13, through Thursday, 11/19
LSHS Student Council is holding its annual food drive competition, with donations given to local families or the food pantries at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, Lampeter United Methodist Church, and Mission Church. Learn more
All Schools are collecting gift cards and monetary donations through 11/19
Additionally, all schools will be accepting $25 Weis Market or Giant gift cards. A $25 gift card will be provided in each box for the recipient to purchase a turkey/ham and dessert for their meal. When donating online, you may override the contribution percentage (fees) on the second page to 0.
Could you or your family benefit from a boxed meal this Thanksgiving? Fill out the Thanksgiving Meal Request form. Registration closes Wednesday, 11/19, and boxes will be available for pickup the week of Thanksgiving.
