2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees
Pioneer alumni Jordan Weaver (2016), Jordan Long-Carta (2010), and Anthony Bua (2009) will be inducted into the L-S Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, September 26.

2025 Lampeter-Strasburg Athletic Hall of Fame induction took place on Friday, September 26, on Pioneer Field at JK Mechanical Stadium. The Lampeter-Strasburg School District athletic department and the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Varsity Club are pleased to announce the induction of three distinguished alumni into the Lampeter-Strasburg Athletic Hall of Fame. Jordan Weaver (Class of 2016), Jordan Long-Carta (Class of 2010), and Antonio Bua (Class of 2009) will be honored for their exceptional athletic achievements and lasting contributions to the Pioneer community. The induction ceremony will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, followed by a public recognition at halftime of the home football game later that evening. Congratulations to all!

Jordan Weaver – Class of 2016
Jordan was a standout pitcher for the varsity softball team, earning four varsity letters and setting league records with a 0.43 earned run average (ERA) and 740 strikeouts. During her high school career, Jordan threw 17 no-hitters and four perfect games, and was recognized as a 2014 LNP Softball Co-Player of the Year. For three consecutive years, Jordan earned spots on the Pennsylvania High School Softball Association All-State Team, as well as on the Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Section and All-League teams. She was also named WGAL Player of the Week twice. In 2016, Jordan was the starting pitcher in the PIAA State Championship game, where L-S finished as runner-up. Throughout her high school years, Jordan gave back to the community by volunteering at softball clinics for the L-S softball program.
Jordan’s accomplishments led to a Division I athletic scholarship at Mount St. Mary’s University, where she continued her impressive pitching career, playing softball throughout her undergraduate and graduate school years.

Jordan Long-Carta – Class of 2010
Jordan Long-Carta was an outstanding two-sport athlete at Lampeter-Strasburg, earning two varsity letters in basketball and four in field hockey. On the hockey field, she recorded 29 goals and 50 assists during her high school career, served as team captain, and was named Team MVP in both 2008 and 2009. Jordan was a three-time LL League Section 2 All-Star and earned Second Team All-State honors in Pennsylvania in 2008 and 2009.
Her success at L-S led her to Miami University, where she played collegiate field hockey for four years. A consistent presence on the field, she started and played in 84 games while earning multiple awards for her performance. Following her playing career, Jordan continued to serve the community as Pequea Valley High School field hockey coach from 2014 to 2017.

Antonio Bua – Class of 2009
Antonio Bua was a formidable two-sport athlete at Lampeter-Strasburg, competing in football in his senior year but best known for his prowess on the soccer field. A four-year varsity starter, he earned four letters and quickly established himself as a standout in the program. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2006, followed by consecutive Team MVP honors from 2007 to 2009. Over the course of his career, Antonio earned Second Team All-Section honors in 2007, First Team All-Section honors in 2008 and 2009, and was named Section MVP in 2009. He was also a three-time LL League All-Star, a Second Team All-State selection in 2008, and a First Team All-State honoree in 2009. As a senior captain, he capped his career holding school records for most goals in a season, most career goals, and most career points, while also leading the section in scoring.
Antonio continued his athletic career at York College of Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year starter and earned multiple conference and All-American honors. After college, he gave back to the sport by coaching youth recreational soccer.
