Superintendent Performance

Commissioned officers are evaluated annually by the Lampeter-Strasburg School District Board of School Directors.

In accordance with § 1073.1 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, 24 P.S. § 1073.1, the Board of School Directors and Superintendent shall agree on objective performance standards for use in the Board’s performance evaluation of the Superintendent.

In accordance with § 1073.1 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, 24 P.S. § 1073.1, the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors, and Assistant Superintendent shall agree on objective performance standards for use in the performance evaluation of the Assistant Superintendent.

Process and Timeline

The School Board members establish annual goals for the Superintendent and review the progress throughout the school year. The School Board concludes their annual performance evaluation by June 30.

The Superintendent, in conjunction with the School Board, establishes annual goals for the Assistant Superintendent and reviews the progress throughout the school year. The School Board concludes their annual performance evaluation by June 30.

Results

Based upon the results of the 2023 annual performance evaluations, Dr. Peart and Dr. Godfrey successfully met the mutually agreed upon objective performance standards in all categories.
