Lampeter-Strasburg School District proudly announces the participation of two students, junior Ellie Rhinier and senior Kole Lawrence, in the 2024 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) All-State Chorus. Ellie placed first in her section, and Kole placed second in his section at the 15-county Region 7 Choral Festival in March to earn coveted spots in the All-State Chorus.

Ellie and Kole will travel to the PMEA All-State Festival in Erie, where they will rehearse for several days before performing at Warner Theater at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Dr. Christopher Jackson from Lycoming College will serve as guest conductor. Tickets are available now.

Ellie’s and Kole’s achievements reflect the talents of our students and the ongoing excellence of the district's music education program. Congratulations to Mr. Erik Welchans, LSHS choral director, for another fantastic year!
