L-S Students Perform in Orchestra Festivals
Congratulations to Anya Sheffer, who advanced to the District Orchestra Festival this year, and to the 16 middle and high school students who performed at the county level.
The Lampeter-Strasburg School District Orchestra program has had a fantastic year, with one student advancing to the PA Music Educators Association (PMEA) District level, and nine high school students and seven middle school students were selected to play in this year’s Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA).
Congratulations to this large group of talented young musicians! You can see all of them in action, and much more, at next week’s free Music in Our Schools Month Orchestra Concert, which will be held on March 11 at 7 p.m. in the LSHS Performing Arts Center.
