High School Names May Students of the Month

May 2022 Pioneer Superlatives Molly Wissler and Nathan Romero and Students of the Month Angelia Bixler and Ethan Snyder

 

Two recent graduates, a rising senior and a rising junior have been commended by the Lampeter-Strasburg High School faculty for their achievements in May 2022.

Pioneer Superlatives

Molly Wissler - Molly is a 2022 graduate and the daughter of Tessa and Damian Wissler of Lancaster. During high school, she was the Senior Class Treasurer, the Interact Co-President, and a member of the Ski & Snowboard Club, National Honor Society, and the varsity cross country and track teams. Molly works at Sugarplums and Tea and enjoys reading, running, and spending time with friends and family. She is heading to Villanova University in the fall to major in business analytics. 

Nathan Romero - Nathan is a 2022 graduate and the son of Kim and Nick Koerner of Lancaster. At LSHS, he was a member of the Madrigals, chorus, Quiz Bowl team, Spring Musical cast, L-S Thespian Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and National Honor Society. Nathan was the recipient of the 2022 Meredith Leigh Demko Diversity Scholarship and the Richard F. Lefever Memorial Fund Social Studies Award. He enjoys spending time reading, singing, art, coloring, and spending time with friends. Nathan is heading to Penn State University in the fall to study for a career in the medical field. 

Students of the Month

Angelia Bixler - Angelia will be a senior and is the daughter of Marie Bell and Destiney Bell of Lancaster. She is proudly involved in the Spring Musical and the Fall Play at LSHS. Angelia works at Brethren Village as a dining aide, and is involved in plays and musicals during the summer. In addition to singing and acting, her interests include science and medicine; Angelia aspires to become a dermatologist. 

Ethan Snyder - Ethan will be a junior and is the son of Kimberly Greider of Willow Street. He is a member of the varsity bowling team.
