High School Names April 2024 Students of the Month

Lampeter-Strasburg High School faculty recognized one student from each grade for achievements last month. Congratulations to the LSHS Students of the Month for April 2024. 

Pioneer Superlatives

Eve Miller of Lancaster is a senior and the daughter of Jennifer and Landon Miller. She was nominated by several departments for assisting students in the classroom and providing creative and out-of-the-box ways to help them learn new concepts. Within the school, Eve participates in varsity tennis and pit orchestra. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Blessings of Hope. Next year, Eve will continue her education at Millersville University with a major in social work. 

Logan Leaman of Lancaster is a junior and the son of Justin and Dawn Leaman. He was nominated by the Physical Education Department for his academic performance and relentless dedication to excellence, making him a standout student. In school, Logan is involved with the varsity baseball team, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends, attending youth group, and playing Spikeball. Logan has interests in accounting or engineering for his future career.

Students of the Month

Valeria Arevalo Aguilera of Willow Street is a freshman and the daughter of Rodolfo Arevalo and Alicia Aguilera. She was nominated by multiple departments for having a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to assist others. Outside of school, Valera enjoys spending time with her family. In the future, Valeria hopes to pursue a career as a radiology technician.

Brady Cunningham of Lancaster is a sophomore and the son of AJ and Sue Cunningham. He was nominated by the Science Department for being focused and motivated during class, working well with others, and offering explanations and support to his peers. Within school, Brady plays for both the football and lacrosse teams. Outside of school, he enjoys spending his time with his friends, fishing, golfing, and playing cornhole. Brady is still undecided about his future plans.

Board Recognition

The students were invited to attend the May 7 meeting of the L-S Board of School Directors to be recognized publicly. Board member Kari Steinbacher presented the certificates.
