High School County Orchestra Festival To Be Held on Campus, Features 15 LSHS Students

Fifteen high school orchestra musicians will be part of the LLMEA High School Orchestra Festival at L-S High School on Saturday, February 18.

Fifteen L-S High School students will be among the 225 local student musicians selected to play in this year’s Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) HS Orchestra Festival. The event will be held here at Lampeter-Strasburg High School on Saturday, February 18. The musicians will rehearse throughout the day under the direction of host directors Rob Shaubach and Brian Bartach (Lancaster County Christian), plus guest conductors Rick Ney (Ephrata), Francis J. Caravella (Manheim Township), and Zach Levi (York College). The festival ends with a concert at 7 p.m. at the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $7, cash only, and will be available at the door.
