Fifty Students Inducted Into LSHS National Honor Society
The Lampeter-Strasburg High School National Honor Society added 50 new members at an induction ceremony on November 16, 2023.

The Lampeter-Strasburg High School National Honor Society (NHS) added 50 new members at an induction ceremony on November 16, bringing its 2023-2024 membership to a total of 86 students.
Teachers select NHS members based on knowledge, scholarship, service, leadership, and character. In order to be considered for NHS, students must apply and be vetted with criteria including cumulative grade point average and participation in extracurricular activities.
This year's guest speaker was LSHS science teacher Mrs. Erica White. NHS members and guests also heard from Dr. Feeney, Mr. Marsh, and NHS officers; co-presidents Lauren Livengood and Elizabeth Reinhart, historian Noah Kennel, treasurer Owen Krause, Secretary Natalie Holland, and members KJ Kessler and Bennett Wehibe. Each inductee was then pinned by their chosen honored guest (parent, relative, teacher, coach, etc.) signifying their commitment to upholding the values of scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
