Hans Herr Teams Compete in Elementary STEM Bowl
Hans Herr's fourth and fifth grade teams had a great experience at this year's IU13 Elementary STEM Bowl
The Elementary STEM Bowl teams at this year's competition
Hans Herr Elementary School's fourth- and fifth-grade teams had a wonderful time at this year's IU13 Elementary STEM Bowl on Wednesday, March 4. They competed with 22 teams from Lancaster and Lebanon counties for a fun day of challenge and creativity. The fifth-grade team fought hard, with nearly every round being a nailbiter, and won their last two rounds. The fourth-grade team reached the semifinals and earned third-place medals. Both teams worked hard to prepare for the competition.

The third-grade event was canceled due to winter weather, but there will be a make-up event, and the team is primed to compete next year. Congratulations to all of the participating students and to coaches Mrs. Parise, Mrs. Greenwood, Mrs. Bomberger, Mrs. Diehl, and Ms. Lapp on a successful year!
