Chesapeake Bay Foundation Educators Visit Hans Herr Fifth Graders

Hans Herr fifth graders spent time outdoors on Tuesday, May 17, with Chesapeake Bay Foundation educators. Groups used maps to learn about watersheds and built their own riparian buffers. In Mr. Balak's class, students also had a lesson about different types of pollution (nutrient, sediment, and chemical) and played a Sharks & Minnows variation called Bay Savers & Pollutants.
