The 2023 West Lampeter Community Fair Queen Candidates
Nine Lampeter-Strasburg High School students will compete for the title of Queen at the 99th annual West Lampeter Community Fair on Wednesday, September 27. The contest begins at 7:30 p.m. in the show ring immediately following a 7:00 p.m. parade from the high school to the fairgrounds.
Each candidate represents a club, sport, or extracurricular activity. They will meet individually with the Fair Queen Committee before the contest. The Fair Queen and Runner Up will receive scholarships and cash prizes for themselves and their sponsoring organizations. The reigning Queen also will represent the West Lampeter Community Fair at the PA State Fair Contest in January 2024.

Sydney Albright
Sydney is a senior and the daughter of Dave and Melissa Albright of Strasburg. She will represent the FFA. Sydney will be escorted by sophomore Jack Ross, son of Jeri and Molly Ross of Willow Street.
Sarah Blount
Sarah is a senior and the daughter of Lester and Veronica Blount of Strasburg. She will represent the Band program. Sarah will be escorted by junior Alex Ruhl, son of David Ruhl and Suzanne Boyd of Lancaster.
Kathryn Davis
Kathryn is a senior and the daughter of Tim Davis and Jozlyn and Ried Grodski of Willow Street. She will represent the WLSH morning announcements. Kathryn will be escorted by senior Aiden Flory, son of James and Mary Flory of Lancaster.
Rakhshanda de Lima
Rakhshanda is a senior and the daughter of Eric and Leuza Hagens of Willow Street. She will represent the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Rakhshanda will be escorted by senior Kole Lawrence, son of Brian and Renee Lawrence of Strasburg.
Bethany Helms
Bethany is a senior and the daughter of David and Jennifer Helms of Lancaster. She will represent the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). Bethany will be escorted by junior Ben Moyer, son of Bryan and Liz Moyer of Lancaster.
Ava Leonard
Ava is a senior and the daughter of Matthew Leonard and Sheri Albright of Willow Street. She will represent the Scrubs Club. Ava will be escorted by senior Peter Mecouch, son of Peter and Christie Mecouch of Strasburg.
Rehema Ongosi
Rehema is a senior and the daughter of Isaac and Carolyn Ongosi of Lancaster. She will represent the Student Council. Rehema will be escorted by senior Drew Wagner, son of Darin and Amy Wagner of Lancaster.
Elisabeth Reinhart
Elisabeth is a senior and the daughter of Keith and Lisa Reinhart of Lancaster. She will represent the L-S National Honor Society. Elisabeth will be escorted by Justin Gouger, son of Brian and Tamara Gouger of Lancaster.
Charlotte Wenner
