The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is committed to providing all students a standards-aligned, rigorous and relevant curriculum. Standards clearly describe skills and content students are expected to know and be able to do in all content areas and in all grades and courses. Our standards-aligned curriculum is kept current and is continuously improved through an ongoing process that ensures alignment to state prescribed standards as well as the District’s mission. All curriculum is developed collaboratively by teams of experienced teachers, instructional coaches, and administration to maintain academic rigor, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Research-based instructional strategies are implemented to deliver curriculum in a differentiated manner that meets the needs of all learners. The ongoing alignment of instructional and assessment practices to our curriculum ensures that all students are making progress towards state prescribed standards.
