Software Approval
The continuing expansion of educational technology has resulted in teachers rapidly adopting a wide variety of online services. In response, the District wants to ensure responsible spending, consolidation of overlapping services, and protection of student data.
As members of the Access 4 Learning Student Data Privacy Consortium, we use a statewide privacy agreement for companies we work with or hope to work with in the future. When a company has an approved app and privacy agreement, we will publish signed documents to our Access 4 Learning portal. We recommend that teachers first check this portal before making requests. If a chosen app, service, or digital content is not on the approved list, teachers should complete the App/Service/Digital Request survey to begin the approval process.
App/Service/Digital Content Request
After the survey is submitted, the Instructional Technology Coach, technology department, and building principal will review the request before sending it to the Assistant Superintendent for approval. The app or service will then be published on the portal and made available for use.
