Visual Arts Philosophy
Since prehistoric times, people have used the creation of visual art as a method of nonverbal expression. To nurture appreciation and to develop comprehension, the middle school's art curriculum is designed to provide an exploration into the four different visual art fields of history, criticism, production, and aesthetics. Through the processes of creating visual art and studying well-known artists and their work, students' imagination, creativity and critical thinking will be fostered and stimulated.
