Plant the Seed of Learning is an early childhood education initiative that supports the foundation of learning for children ages birth to two. By age three, 85 percent of a child’s core brain structure is formed, driving the need to support children from birth.
NEW this year is GROW THE SEED OF LEARNING! These sessions are for ages 2-4 after the completion of Plant the Seed of Learning. There will be 3 sessions.
Each year's Plant/Grow the Seed schedule will be posted at the beginning of the school year. Free classes run from October-May. Registration is required.
Preschool Mornings Out is a free Saturday morning activity program for children from age two through the start of kindergarten. Mornings Out are held quarterly at Lampeter Elementary School.
Preschool Story Hour is held monthly throughout the school year at Lampeter Elementary School, with two sessions (10am and 1pm) the second Monday of each month. This program is open to children who will begin kindergarten at Lampeter-Strasburg in the 2019-2020 school year. Registration is required.
Little Sprouts is a book delivery program for families during the first eighteen months of a child's life. Please contact Lauren Menapace, early childhood coordinator, for more information.
