Ten L-S High School vocalists have been invited to perform at the PMEA District 7 Choral Festival, which is planned for February 11-12, 2022, in Chambersburg.
Nick and Brooke presided over the school's first-ever outdoor homecoming dance on Saturday, 10/23.
Two casts will each stage two performances of Neil Simon's comedy "The Odd Couple" as Lampeter-Strasburg High School's Fall Play. See both versions during the play's run from November 11-13, 2021.
Schools will collect donations from November 15-17 and reserved boxed meals can be picked up on November 22 or 23.
Sixteen seniors have been chosen by their classmates as the Class of 2022's homecoming court. The king will be crowned at the October 21 powder puff game and the queen will be crowned at the October 22 homecoming game, after students vote.
On October 8, the Varsity Club inducted outstanding athletes from the classes of 1967, 1995, 2009, and 2011 into the L-S Athletic Hall of Fame.
Martin Meylin Middle School team teachers selected students who were "back to school and ready to learn" as the year's first Students of the Month.
Teachers selected three juniors and a senior to receive recognition for their achievements in September 2021.
Seniors Ryker Holsinger, Anderson Grubb, and Maggie Visniski were named as Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The golf team won the L-L League championship for the first time in school history this year, as well as their section title. Congratulations!

The Owl Hill Pre-K Counts partnership with Lampeter-Strasburg School District has been approved to begin in late October or early November. Eligibility screenings will be held online and at Lampeter Elementary.

And come early for dinner at the Pioneer Strong Chicken Barbeque (5-6:30 p.m.). Proceeds benefit memorial scholarships and a new fund for families dealing with unforeseen circumstances.
A parade will be held on Thursday, July 15, to honor the 2021 softball team for winning the 5A PIAA State Championship.
As a result of the pandemic, students have a new option of repeating a grade in the 2021-2022 school year.
