Seniors Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
Seniors Liana Howe, Isaiah Lamison, and Wesley Leaman are semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program
Three L-S seniors have been named as Semifinalists in the 66th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Performance on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) placed them among the highest-scoring one percent of students nationwide. Over 1.5 million juniors from nearly 21,000 high schools took the test, with only 16,000 receiving the semifinalist designation.
Congratulations to these academically-talented students:

She is also the Class of 2021’s School Board representative. Liana plans to attend college to major in environmental studies.
Isaiah Lamison - Isaiah is the son of Brian and Megan Lamison of Refton. His activities include marching band, concert band, National Honor Society, and the cross country and track and field teams. Isaiah plans to attend college to study software engineering.
