2020 Homecoming Court
Ian Herr and Daisy Frank are the 2020 Lampeter-Strasburg High School Homecoming King and Queen.
Congratulations to the 16 members of the Class of 2021 who have been named to this year's Homecoming Court. Seniors voted for the court and the entire L-S High School student body will have the chance to vote this week. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned on Friday, October 2, at halftime during the football game. The festivities are closed to the public but will be broadcast live on the L-S Athletics YouTube channel.
Homecoming Queen Candidates
Lizzie is the daughter of Ben and Amy Deardorff of Lancaster. She is the co-president of Student Council and co-captain of the girls soccer team. She is also a member of Pioneer Interact Club, National Honor Society, and the varsity track & field team. Lizzie has been named an LL League All-Star for soccer and currently plays on the PA Classics U19 Girls Academy Team. She is also involved in the Kid Ministry at LCBC. Lizzie plans to pursue a physical therapy degree and play soccer in college.
Sophie is the daughter of Vito DiCamillo and Debra Houpt of Lancaster. She is a member of the Art Club, Pioneer Interact Club, honor roll, Mini-THON committee, and manages the girls volleyball team. Outside of school, she works two jobs and enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. Sophie plans to further her education by attending college to study health sciences.
2020 Homecoming Queen
Daisy is the daughter of Donnie and Nesha Frank of Lancaster. She plays varsity field hockey and softball and is a member of the Pioneer Interact Club, Mini-THON, National Honor Society, and the High School Heroes program. Daisy also attends New Providence Church of God and plays club field hockey for The Nook. She plans to attend Syracuse University to major in exercise science and play field hockey, with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.
Olivia is the daughter of Nichole Roberts of Lancaster and Dave Harris of Lancaster. She plays varsity girls tennis and softball, is a member of National Honor Society, and is a student representative on the Lampeter-Strasburg Comprehensive Planning Team. Olivia volunteers at Oak Leaf Manor, coaches tennis teammates, works with children in the community, and spends her free time with family and friends. She plans to attend college to major in human biology and hopes to continue her education to become a cardiac surgeon.
Lane is the daughter of Kelly Kopelman of Lancaster and Matt Kopelman of Lancaster. She is a member of the Pioneer Interact Club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and the varsity girls soccer team. Outside of school, Lane works in a pizza shop. She plans to attend college to study nursing.
Kiana is the daughter of Robert and Sheila Sweger of Willow Street. She is a member of National Honor Society, Mini-THON, Student Council, Varsity Club, and the varsity girls soccer, girls basketball, and girls lacrosse teams. Kiana plays club basketball outside of school. She plans to attend college to major in environmental studies.
Kylee is the daughter of Fred and Lynette Waller of Lampeter. She is a varsity cheerleader and a member of National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, L-S Thespian Society, chorus, and Madrigals. Kylee takes private dance and voice lessons at Creative Pursuits studio, interns at both Creative Pursuits and Servant Stage Company, and performs at various theatres in the area. She works at her family’s Italian ice business, KC’s Italian Ice. Kylee plans to attend Penn State University to double major in communications sciences & disorders and theatre.
Nasya is the daughter of Maddy Galarza and Matthew Warfel of Lancaster. She is a member of National Honor Society, the Fellowship of Christian Students, and is a manager for the varsity football and girls basketball teams. Nasya is on the worship team at her church, plays the piano, volunteers at LBIC Food Bank, works at the Strasburg Railroad, and interns with ARRO consulting. She plans to pursue a career in forensics.
Homecoming King Candidates
Elijah is the son of Will and Handrick Carr of Willow Street. He is a member of the varsity football and track & field teams, the Fellowship of Christian Students, and the High School Heroes program. Outside of school, Elijah enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, and growing his faith in God. He plans to attend a four-year college to major in either psychology or athletic training.
Bradey is the son of Brian and Sherry Cunningham of Lancaster. He is a member of the varsity wrestling team. Outside of school, Bradey enjoys hunting, fishing, and dirt bike riding. He currently attends the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (CTC) in the electrical construction technology program to prepare for a career in the field.
Drew is the son of Steve and LuAnn Harris of Lampeter. He is a member of the varsity football and boys lacrosse teams and the Ski and Snowboard Club. Outside of school, Drew runs a yard work business and works at Bleacher Bums. He plans to attend college to study business and play football.

Ian is the son of Steve and Karen Herr of Lancaster. He is a varsity member of the football and basketball team and a member of the Pioneer Interact Club. He enjoys fishing in his free time. Ian plans to attend college to study engineering, where he will also play football.
Jonathan is the son of Thomas and Hope Klein of Willow Street. He is the president of LS News and a member of the boys lacrosse team. Jonathan owns a photography and filmmaking business and enjoys working on cars. After graduation, he plans to attend a business school and keep growing his media business.
Colin is the son of Ray and Terri McDonald of Lampeter. He is the Senior Class President and a member of National Honor Society, L-S Model United Nations, and the varsity wrestling team. Colin also is involved in the youth group at Pequea Church. He plans to attend college to study marketing before pursuing a career in politics.
Conner is the son of Joshua and Ruby Nolt of Lampeter. He is a member of the Pioneer Interact Club, Varsity Club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and the varsity football and boys lacrosse teams. Outside of school, Conner is involved in youth group and enjoys spending time with friends. He plans to attend college to study physical therapy and play lacrosse.
Austin is the son of Arlin and Kim Stoltzfus of Strasburg. He is a member of the Pioneer Interact Club and the varsity football, boys basketball, and track & field teams. Austin is involved in his church, is an advocate for ending human trafficking, and enjoys playing with his nephew and spending time with friends. He plans to attend college to study business marketing/sports management and play football. He hopes to one day open a financial planning business with his brother, Adam.
In addition to voting for the homecoming king and queen, L-S High School students will have a chance to show their Pioneer Pride during Homecoming Spirit Days (jersey days and blue out days). Spirit day participants will receive a sweet treat.
