Congratulations to 2019 West Lampeter Community Fair Queen Jessica Herr and runner-up Jessica Heisey! The Jessicas were crowned on Wednesday, September 25, on the first night of the fair. Classmates Anne Leaman, Abigail Powell, and Jacqueline Schultz also were finalists. Kudos to all of the candidates for showing exceptional poise and providing thoughtful answers at the competition.

Fourteen Lampeter-Strasburg High School students will compete for the title of 2019 West Lampeter Community Fair Queen on Wednesday, September 25. The contest will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the show ring and will be preceded by a parade from L-S High School to the fairgrounds. Candidates will each represent a club, sport, or extracurricular activity.

2019 Candidates

Delayne Breslin

Delayne is a senior and the daughter of Abraham and Leigh Breslin of Willow Street. She will represent L-S Bands. Delayne will be escorted by senior Donovan Thomann, son of David and Patricia Thomann of Lancaster.

Jessica Heisey

Jessica is a senior and the daughter of Richard and Mary Heisey of Willow Street. She will represent the L-S Thespian Society. Jessica will be escorted by senior Joseph Long, son of Theodore and Janet Long of Willow Street.

Jessica Herr

Jessica is a senior and the daughter of Eric and Melissa Herr of Lancaster. She will represent the Garden Spot FFA. Jessica will be escorted by junior Bryce Johnson, son of John and Karen Johnson of Strasburg.

Nora Holmes

Nora is a senior and the daughter of Kathleen and Timothy Holmes of Lancaster. She will represent National Honor Society. Nora will be escorted by senior Seth Beers, son of Peter and Kristina Beers of Lancaster.

Taryn Hostetter

Taryn is a senior and the daughter of Aaron and Jessica Hostetter of Lancaster. She will represent Pioneer Interact Club. Taryn will be escorted by senior John Madera, son of Francisco and Cristina Madera of Lancaster.

Emma Houck

Emma is a senior and the daughter of Jeffrey and Katherine Houck of Lancaster. She will represent Varsity Club. Emma will be escorted by senior Alex Baker, son of Derek Baker and Jennifer Baker of Lancaster.

Isabella Howells

Isabella is a senior and the daughter of John and Gail Howells of Lancaster. She will represent the Asian Cultures Club. Isabella will be escorted by junior John Blochberger, son of Michael and Aimee Blochberger of Strasburg.

Ellen Koebley

Ellen is a senior and the daughter of Thomas and Kristen Koebley of Strasburg. She will represent the Scrub Club. Ellen will be escorted by senior Bailey Jackson, son of Jeffrey and Elaine Jackson of Lancaster.

Anne Leaman

Anne is a senior and the daughter of Christopher and Alison Leaman of Willow Street. She will represent the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). Anne will be escorted by senior Darin Landis, son of Roger and Beverly Landis of Strasburg.

Makenzie Lefever

Makenzie is a senior and the daughter of Dwight and Heather Lefever of Willow Street. She will represent Student Council. Makenzie will be escorted by senior Caleb Smoker, son of Jarelle and Aimee Smoker of Willow Street.

Samantha Monroy

Samantha is a junior and the daughter of Mark and Lety Monroy of Willow Street. She will represent the Pioneer Page Turners. Samantha will be escorted by senior Gabriel Sanderson, son of John and Kimberly Sanderson of Strasburg.

Abigail Powell

Abigail is a senior and the daughter of Christopher and Cynthia Powell of Strasburg. She will represent the Spanish Club. Abigail will be escorted by senior Justin Miller, son of Charles and Carmen Miller of Willow Street.

Jacqueline Schultz

Jacqueline is a senior and the daughter of Douglas and Marcia Schultz of Lancaster. She will represent the L-S Model UN. Jacqueline will be escorted by senior Anthony Milazzo, son of Paul and Amy Milazzo of Lancaster.

Madison Whitaker

Madison is a senior and the daughter of Michael and Karen Whitaker of Lancaster. She will represent L-S Track and Field. Madison will be escorted by senior Jacob Kopelman, son of Matthew and Kelly Koppelman of Lancaster.
