L-S High School Students Selected for District Orchestra
Festival will be held at L-S, Public Concert 2/1

This year’s festival will include 125 of the finest high school musicians from 51 high schools in the south central Pennsylvania counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York. The guest conductor is Michael Hall, music director of the Kennett (PA) and Prince George (Canada) Symphonies, and the festival host is Robert Shaubach, Orchestra director at Lampeter-Strasburg School District.
A public concert will be presented in the L-S High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 1, at 3:00 PM.
The concert will feature Swan Lake Ballet Suite by Tchaikovsky, Equus by Eric Whitacre, and the final movement of Dvorak’s New World Symphony.
The performance will take place in the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Performing Arts Center. All tickets will be sold at the door (All Adults $8 each, Students 18 and under - $5 each). All seating is general admission.
