Teacher of the Month

Art teacher Edward Leone is the Martin Meylin Middle School Teacher of the Month. He has been teaching at the middle school since 1999. In addition to his instructional duties, Mr. Leone is the faculty advisor for the Martin Meylin student council, a position he has held since 2001, and a scenery painter for school musicals. His scenery design can be seen this week in the school’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which runs from December 6-8 at the L-S High School Performing Arts Center.
“As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher,” says Mr. Leone. “I am proud to teach at Lampeter-Strasburg and consider my students and my coworkers to be part of my family.”
Board Recognition

Eighth grade Students of the Month were invited to the December 3, 2018, meeting of the Board of School Directors to be publicly recognized. Board member Scott Kimmel awarded this month's certificates.
