Lampeter Students Enjoy Pioneer Ninja Warrior Rewards
Lampeter Elementary students raised more than $40,000 for enrichment activities through this year's PTO Pioneer Ninja Warrior campaign.

L-S Reaches Toys for Tots Milestone in 2018
L-S families donated a record 1,277 toys to the Marine Toys for Tots program this year, surpassing a goal 10,000 donations since the District program began in 2005.

Students of the Month were selected based on displaying the characteristics of respect and Mr. Leone was named Teacher of the Month.

Martin Meylin Musical
Martin Meylin Middle School presents an adaption of the classic musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from December 6-8, 2018. Shows start at 7 p.m. at the PAC.

Fall All-Stars
This season, L-S is home to two all-league, 17 1st team, 12 2nd team, five honorable mention, two section, and 23 academic all-stars plus two coaches of the year.

National Honor Society Induction

High School Students of the Month - October
Four Lampeter-Strasburg High School students are applauded for their achievements during the month of October. Seniors Maya Horst and Jacob Visniski are Pioneer Superlatives while junior Alexis Garrett and sophomore Fabiano Moscoso-Rondon are Students of the Month.

Lippy Receives Doctoral Degree
L-S Athletic Director Branden Lippy successfully defended her dissertation on October 15, 2018, to receive her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University. Congratulations Dr. Lippy!

Boys Cross Country Earns First Section Title
Congratulations to the boys cross country team, who have clinched a share of the L-L League Section Two title for the first time in program history.

Four high school students have been honored for their achievements during September 2018. Hannah Andersen and Luke Brodersen are the month's Pioneer Superlatives while Mary Torres and Jared Risser are Students of the Month.

Pioneers Win Section III Golf Championship
Congratulations to the Pioneer Golf Team for winning the LL-League Section III Championship on Tuesday, October 9.

2018 Homecoming Court
The LSHS student body chose 16 seniors to make up the 2018 Homecoming Court. The king will be crowned at the Powderpuff game on October 18 and the queen will be crowned at the Homecoming game on October 19.

Girls Tennis Takes Section 2 Title
After a undefeated season of Section 2 victories going 5-0, the Lampeter-Strasburg Girls Tennis team was rewarded with the Section 2 championship on Friday, September 28.

Third Graders Recognized for Pioneer Spirit and Grit
Throughout the school year, third graders will gather for monthly Circle the Wagons assemblies to emphasize positive behavior skills. September's theme was "Pioneer Spirit and Grit."

The PIAA 5A title-winning softball team visited the State Capitol on Wednesday, September 26, to be honored by state legislators.

Students Attend National Youth Leadership Forum STEM summer camp
Rising seventh graders Peter Mecouch and Bennett Wehibe took part in the National Youth Leadership Forum for STEM camp at Villanova University from July 15-20, 2018.

FFA Summer Update
Fifteen members of the High School's Garden Spot FFA Chapter attended the PA FFA State Convention from June 12-14, 2018. The students competed on various teams, attended breakout sessions on topics of their choice, and making memories with old and new friends.

L-S Softball Honored in US Congress
On June 26, Congressman Lloyd Smucker read an account of the varsity softball program's first PIAA 5A Championship Title and congratulated the team from the floor of the US House of Representatives.
