The Lampeter-Strasburg High School Outdoor/Environmental Club is sponsoring two exciting and varied opportunities for students to engage in place-based, hands-on learning opportunities.
In May, the club will be traveling to Chincoteague Bay Field Station at Wallops Island Virginia to be immersed in four days of study of marine science, oceanography and coastal environmental ecology. This is an excellent opportunity for any student interested in pursuing a career in marine biology or similar fields of study.
In July, the club will be traveling to the Teton Science School at Jackson Wyoming for a week of adventure and learning in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Students will participate in a variety of outdoor activities geared to their interests, including canoeing on String Lake, hiking to Phelps Lake, stewardship projects, a scenic float along the Snake River, and much more!
Regisration Deadline Extended Until Monday, March 5!
