Students Use Creativity to Promote Lampeter-Strasburg Education Foundation
Donate 11/17 through Extraordinary Give
Students graders in Mrs. D’Agostino’s English/Language Arts classes put their creativity and marketing skills into action to promote the Lampeter-Strasburg Education Foundation (LSEF) as part of the Lancaster’s Extraordinary Give, which takes place this Friday, November 17.
Three seventh grade sections - the 7Ns, 7Ls, and 7Hs - started the project after lessons about the LSEF and the Extraordinary Give as well as advertising, marketing, and public relations. Students split into small groups and collaborated to develop promotional materials. Some groups created posters, brochures, and flyers while others wrote social media posts, web content, email marketing pieces, and press releases. A few groups recorded promotional videos and created new logos for the LSEF.
Below are just a few samples of student work. Please consider donating to the LSEF during the Extraordinary Give on Friday. You can donate from anywhere, including the giving station at the Lampeter Cafe.
