More than 1,000 Toys Collected During 2017 Toys for Tots Campaign

Toys for Tots Elves 201

Santa and the Pioneer Interact elves traveled to each school with with Mrs. Grove, Mrs. Potter, and "Rudolph" to collect donated toys.

The 2017 Toys for Tots campaign began Monday, November 20, and ran through Friday, December 1. During that time, students donated new toys for girls and boys between the ages of two and 12.

On December 1, representatives from the U.S. Marine Corps joined Santa, Dr. Peart, and an assortment of elves to stuff a school bus with toys. The group visited each of the four schools on the L-S campus, collecting toys and greeting students along the way. All in all, the elves counted 1081 toys!

Each toy will help to make someone's holiday a little brighter. Fifteen thousand children in Lancaster County alone are served each year through Toys for Tots. Thanks to everyone who participated!
