Wednesday, January 17, 2018, the Lampeter-Strasburg School District is is closed.
School is now in session on Friday, January 19, and will be closed for students on Monday, January 22, for an inservice day. HS final exams are now 1/18 and 1/19 with parent-approved early dismissal on Friday.
Band Standouts Perform at County and District Festivals
A slate of L-S musicians will participate in the invitation-only Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) High School and Middle School County Band South festival on January 20, 2018. The festival concludes with a public concert at J.P. McCaskey High School. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.

Senior Preston Brazzle also earned a coveted spot in the District 7 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Lower Band Festival on January 12 and 13, 2018. He will play alongside other accomplished student musicians from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties. Conductor Harland Parker from Peabody Institute of The John Hopkins University will serve as guest conductor. A public concert is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on January 13 at Kennard Dale High School. Tickets will be available at the door.
