Medication

Medications in School 

The administration of prescribed medication to a student during school hours in accordance with the direction of a parent/guardian and licensed prescriber will be permitted only when failure to take such medicine would jeopardize the health of the student or the student would not be able to attend school if the medicine were not available during school hours.

ELEMENTARY (Grades K-5) 

With parental consent via the annual health form. This form is located within the PowerSchool parent portal. 

  • Throat lozenges/cough drops
  • Zyrtec (severe allergy or anaphylactic reasons)
  • Benadryl (for anaphylactic reasons only)
  • Generic Oral Antiseptic
  • Orajel/Anbesol
  • Saline Eye Wash
  • Hydrocortisone Cream
  • Caladryl Lotion
  • Antibiotic Cream
  • Aloe Vera
  • Sunscreen

SECONDARY (GRades 6-12)

With parental consent via the annual health form. This form is located within the PowerSchool parent portal.

  • Ibuprofen
  • Acetaminophen
  • Tums (Antacid)
