Queen Candidates

Kelsey McNaul is the daughter of Doug and Lisa McNaul of Lancaster. She is the president of the Do Something Club, the Vice President of the Gay-Straight Alliance, and a member of the National Honor Society, Model United Nations, orchestra, and the volleyball team. Outside of school she works as an associate at American Eagle Outfitters, plays club volleyball and participates in youth group. She plans to attend college to major in environmental science and to use her degree to help save the environment.

QUEEN Sarah Morris is the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Morris of Strasburg. She is a member of Student Council, the Heroes program, Do Something Club, Environmental Club, the spring musical and the tennis team. Sarah works as a hostess at Iron Horse Inn and as a lifeguard at the Strasburg Pool and likes going on adventures with friends and playing with animals. She plans to attend college to study wildlife conservation and marine biology.

Selah Phillips is the daughter of Jeff and Toni Philips of Refton. At L-S she is a member of the Interact Club, Art Club, Fellowship of Christian Students, the Heroes program, the Do Something Club, and is the manager of the boys soccer and wrestling teams. Selah works at Rafiki Africa in Central Market, volunteers in the Hans Herr computer lab and at the Loft youth group, and is a member of the youth group at her church. She plans to attend college to study environmental stability and to serve, help, and teach people in need.

Kristin Beiler is the daughter of Loren and Karen Beiler of Strasburg. At L-S she is a member of the Interact Club, Varsity Club, Fellowship of Christian Students and the varsity girls soccer team. Kristin is also active in her church youth group and plays on a club soccer team. She plans to attend Montana Wilderness of the Bible College for a year after graduation and then to attend college.

FIRST RUNNER UP Sofia Abdo is the daughter of Bashar and Carlene Abdo of Lancaster. She is the senior class vice president and is active in National Honor Society, Interact Club (President), Fellowship of Christian Students and the cross country team. Outside of school, Sofia is a lifeguard and helps teach Sunday School to grades K-2. She plans to attend college to study business and marketing.

SECOND RUNNER UP Madison Cunningham is the daughter of Lori Cunningham of Lampeter and Steve Cunningham of Lampeter. She is active in the Interact Club, the school newspaper, varsity cheerleading and track and field. Outside of L-S, Madison works at Nike and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She plans to attend college to study business.

Olivia Gleason is the daughter of Jeff and Terri Gleason of Lancaster. She is the senior class secretary and a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Varsity Club, Interact Club, the Heroes program, and the soccer and swim teams. Olivia coaches and swims for the L-S Otters summer swim team and lifeguards at the Lampeter YMCA. She plans to attend college to study communications.

Vanessa Schneider is the daughter of Douglas and Kimberly Schneider of Lampeter. She is the editor of the Limelight and the captain of the field hockey team. She is also member of the track and field team, the Heroes program, Varsity Club and the honor roll. Vanessa enjoys hiking, reading, playing with her dog and spending time with her five siblings. She plans to attend college to study English and journalism.

King Candidates

John Davis is the son of Paul and Barb Davis of Lampeter. He is a member of the Model United Nations, football, and wrestling teams. John’s interests include hunting, fishing, and hiking. He plans to become a state trooper.

KING Aaron Smith is the son of Mark and Becky Smith of Lancaster. He is active in orchestra, chorus, Madrigals, the fall play and spring musical, Art Club, Lampeter-Strasburg Thespian Society, Fellowship of Christian Students, and the Tri-M Music Honors Society. Aaron is also a member of his church youth group. He plans to attend college to major in Biblical studies and minor in photography.

Nowa Bronner is the son of Taeko Bronner of Lancaster and the late Scott Bronner. He is active in orchestra, Asian Culture Club, National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Students, and the Heroes program. Nowa also plays on a club soccer team. He plans to attend college to study engineering.

Nicholas Mummau is the son of Lowell and Ann Mummau of Willow Street. He is a member of the Interact Club, Varsity Club, the Heroes program, and a varsity member of the ice hockey, track, and soccer teams. Nicholas is also an Eagle Scout and a member of a travel ice hockey team. He plans to attend college to study mechanical engineering.

Logan Frey is the son of Rick and Kay Frey of Willow Street. At L-S, he is the treasurer of the Interact Club, an officer in the Ski/Snowboard Club and the Outdoor Club, a captain of the swim team and the golf team, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students. Outside of school, Logan attends youth group at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and has gone on mission trips to Boston and the Dominican Republic. He plans to attend college to study business.

Anthony Hazboun is the son of Fred and Marie Hazboun of Lancaster. He is active in Interact Club and is a member of the tennis and wrestling teams. Anthony enjoys fishing and dancing and is a lifeguard at the YMCA. He plans to attend college to study engineering.

SECOND RUNNER UP Ross Souders is the son of Rick and Terri Souders of Willow Street. He is a member of Varsity Club and of the varsity football team. Ross is a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and volunteers there. He works part-time at the Fireside Tavern in Strasburg as a server and enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with friends and family. He plans to attend college to study engineering.

FIRST RUNNER UP Jason Sindorf is the son of Julianne Sindorf of Strasburg and Todd Sindorf of Strasburg. At L-S he is a member of the the Interact Club, the Ski/Snowboard Club, the football team, and the lacrosse team. Jason plans to attend college after graduation.
